As the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be joining an organisation that continues to see growth in customer loyalty and confidence in their brand around the world.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for domestic wholesale sales in lights, scopes and firearms, as well as lead the Marketing Team for the LFG.
As a leader of people, you will be responsible to lead a team of Business Development Managers and Marketing Team Members across Australia to achieve and exceed sales targets and put knowledge to commercial use across the LFG product range.
You will also be tasked with providing operational and strategic leadership for marketing across the LFG, including developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategy for all product lines.
In line with the strategy, you will be required to research and identify new potential customers and market opportunities, including the analysis of market trends and assisting with the preparation of sales forecasts for use in planning and performance measuring.
This is a key and exciting role in driving LFG's values, mission, and vision, leading the Business Development Managers, and marketing team and ensuring the LFG brand continues to be well-known and recognised Australia-wide.
Key responsibilities include: Leading and motivating the sales and marketing teams to ensure key performance indicators and targets are met.Developing and implementing the strategic sales and marketing strategy to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.Developing a comprehensive understanding of the product range and its positioning in the market.Gathering market analytics to identify potential gaps and resolutions, whilst following up on significant business opportunities.Mentoring staff, ensuring training, and performance evaluations are met including sales forecasting activities and setting the national team KPI's.Developing and maintaining a stakeholder engagement plan/strategy to ensure regular and meaningful engagement.Meeting with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.Collaborating, supporting and sharing expertise with other relevant functions across the business.Collaborating with the engineering function in product development activities.Key requirements include: Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or a related area.Relevant qualifications or certifications with a significant demonstrated management experience in sales and marketing.Previous experience in driving product sales through various channels including Distributors, Direct to Consumer, and B2B.Demonstrated ability to develop and coach high performing teams to work collaboratively and productively.Advanced commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data.Highly developed presentation and communication skills and experience in the delivery of training and presentations.Knowledge of the Automotive, Sporting light industry, 4x4 and Firearms industry is desirable.Overall, you will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers.
