Your new role
As the IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering IT support to the end-users in line with IT Service Level Agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction. You will provide IT support for commonly used computing platforms, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, AV/video conferencing equipment, peripherals, software packages, and operating systems.
* Provide support and troubleshooting for general IT incidents and requests across a varied estate, including specialist teaching and/or research solutions and applications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues over multiple channels, including phone, email, and service desk, escalating issues to the appropriate operational IT teams as required.
* Adopt the agreed service delivery and support processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of solutions, applications, and IT support services.
* Ensure all procured assets are tracked in the asset management system, ensuring compliance for audit purposes.
* Provide support to maintain the in-venue audiovisual equipment across the Organisation.
* Deliver, set up, and configure desktop and workstation computers across the Organisation.
* Create supporting documentation of technical problems, error messages, troubleshooting steps, and action plans, and ensure the technical knowledge base is kept up to date.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with asset management systems and IT service delivery processes.
