The Team:
Statewide Hospital Pharmacy provides clinical pharmacy services to a number of wards at each public hospital (including ICU, paediatrics, rehabilitation, palliative care, oncology, mental health, general medical and surgical wards). It also provides a number of other services including the manufacturing of aseptic and non-aseptic products, chemotherapy preparation, clinical trials, outpatient dispensing, therapeutic drug monitoring and educational in-services.

The Role:
Provide leadership and management to the Medicine Supply Teams across the State, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective supply and purchasing activities in each region.
Work closely with the Statewide Pharmacy Manager – Supply Chain and Statewide Pharmacy Manager – Operations & Logistics in implementing consistent strategic supply chain improvement strategies and opportunities across the State, including the Medicines Supply Continuous Quality Improvement Project.
Work collaboratively with the Medicines Supply Teams on supply chain issues, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality customer service.

An ability to provide high level supply and purchasing expertise, advice and support,
Willingness to contribute to the development and implementation of processes in relation to best practice supply and purchasing strategies,
Enthusiasm for building relationships and working collaboratively.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:
$107,899 to $122,292 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in business, purchasing, logistics or a relevant discipline from a recognised tertiary institution, or at least five years senior experience in a relevant discipline.
