(PCLS) is a non-profit, government-funded, community organisation that provides free, accessible, equitable, responsible, and culturally appropriate advice, support and advocacy to the people of the Pilbara. We offer a range of services including: Legal Services Financial Counselling Disability Advocacy Tenant Advice and Education Service Housing Support Domestic Violence Advocacy & Victim Support Redress Support Community Migrant Service This position is based in our Karratha office. The Pilbara has a unique and rich heritage and culture, with diverse Indigenous and multi-cultural heritage, spectacular landscapes, and an abundance of places to visit and explore. We are a well-established and highly valued part of the Pilbara social infrastructure and have regional offices in Karratha, Roebourne, South Hedland, and Newman. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Good written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to write and present formal reports and correspondence. Demonstrated skills in working with, and knowledge of, Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook and other database entry systems. Capacity to maintain a high level of discretion and exercise sound judgement in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters. Highly organised and able to multitask. Be non-judgemental and empathetic, and able to set personal boundaries. Working rights within Australia Current Australia Drivers License, Class 3. Police Clearance and Working with Children Check required.
