Our Team
Our national Workplace practice is recognised by Chambers & Partners in the ‘National Leaders – Employment’ category. With 23 partners across Australia, we advise clients on the full spectrum of employment, industrial relations, underpayment of wages and remediation, human rights and anti-discrimination, WHS, investigations, and global mobility law.
We partner with major domestic and international clients, as well as having a strong public sector client base. We work on many of the market leading matters across all areas of our practice.
More About You
We welcome applications from candidates with:
* a minimum 3 years' experience in employment, industrial relations, underpayment of wages and remediation, workplace investigations, human rights or WHS law (or a similar level of experience in high level commercial litigation with an interest in employment law)
* (for Senior Associates) significant industrial relations experience including in enterprise bargaining
* a client-focussed approach and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and peers
* experience running matters and the ability to drive a matter forward autonomously where appropriate
* leadership capability, including experience delegating to and mentoring graduates, lawyers, and paralegals in the group
* an interest in and willingness to contribute to business development initiatives for the practice group.
