About the position
Calling all Psychologists, and Mental Health Social Workers, Nurses and Occupational Therapists who are motivated by equity of access to Mental Health services and have a passion to make a real difference in peoples lives!
Integrated Recovery Services (IRS) is a free, not for-profit, medium-term Mental Health service with a strong focus on person-centered, strengths-based recovery approaches. We support people with complex needs and enduring mental health vulnerabilities on their journey to lead a meaningful and satisfying life and to help prevent them from slipping through the cracks of the mental health system.
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work collaboratively with a mental health peer worker, to use your clinical expertise to support participants to create the positive changes they identify as needed. You will also provide clinical care coordination in collaboration with GPs, psychiatrists, the local health district services and other mental health organisations.
Based in Bega, is a parental leave cover position to 30 June 2025, available 22.5 hours per week.

We are looking for someone with:
1. Current AHPRA registration as a psychologist or provisionally registered psychologist, or Mental Health Nurse, Aboriginal Health Worker or Occupational Therapist, or a Mental Health Social Worker accredited with AASW (or the ability to work towards).
2. Demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and development of intervention plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers
3. Demonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic services
4. Understanding of the biological, psychological and social underpinnings of mental health
