About the role
The role will be filled at either ASO6, RN3 or AHP3 depending on the skillset and experience of the successful candidate.
The Safety and Quality and Risk Officer will assist the Safety, Quality and Risk Manager to:
6. Manage the development and implementation of an organisation-wide quality plan. This includes activities involving accreditation, clinical audits, patient safety, and clinical and corporate risk.
7. Lead and coordinate key initiatives associated with monitoring the implementation of accreditation, clinical quality activities, clinical audits, and patient incident management.
8. Advise, educate and provide support regarding the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS), the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQSS), and the application of safety and quality principles in SA Medical Imaging (SAMI).

Essential Requirements:

Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
RN3: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
AHP3: Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia or Registered or eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
