This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working within the team to develop and implement PR, influencer, and social campaigns, manage and foster client relationships, and contribute to integrated communications and brand projects.During a typical week at IVY, you'll be kept busy working on a wide range of consumer brands. Your key duties will look a lot like this list below:Drafting content for media and influencer campaigns (such as press releases, media pitches, and social content)Developing media lists and scoping influencer targetsPitching to media and influencers to secure coverage and collaboration opportunitiesContributing to the development of PR and social media strategies in collaboration with the senior teamManaging the day-to-day implementation of communications and social media campaignsContributing strong creative ideas, in line with a PR strategy, and pitching in to bring them to lifeTaking accountability on key accounts, managing client relationships and communicationWorking effectively with the wider BCM team, including creative, digital, strategy, and media teams, giving clear briefs and managing lead and delivery timesMonitoring and achieving campaign KPIs on key client accountsOur ideal new team member will first and foremost be a great cultural fit, as we're a tight-knit team of eight.In terms of your skills and experience, we want to see some key attributes:At least 12-18 months experience in a communications agency, or comparable in-house creative communications environmentA strong and up-to-date understanding of PR and the wider communications landscape, with the ability to explain them to the team and clientsSelf-motivation with a positive, can-do attitude, and a high level of accountability and intuitionOn point organisation and time management skillsPolished communication and writing skills, and the ability to adapt across editorial and social mediaAn understanding of earned and social media, and how these disciplines fit into and strengthen the wider marketing mixClient management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client expectations on a day-to-day basis and to pre-empt (and help solve) issues before they ariseExperience briefing in work to creative and media departmentsAmazing attention to detail and proof-reading skills, with the ability to critique tone and content (not just spelling and grammar)If this all sounds like your next career step, we can't wait to meet you.Seniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing / EditingLocation: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
