Business Analyst - Sustainability & Reporting3 Year Fixed Term ContractSydney Based RoleReporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and with a communication line into the Sustainability Manager, you will support the delivery of Tourism Australia's sustainability strategy, goals, and targets and Annual Reporting requirements. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and manage our sustainability reporting systems and serve as the in-house technical expert for the delivery of applicable standards and laws, creating sustainability reports and ESG disclosures.The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of good sustainability practice across a wide scope including environmental, social, and governance activities from climate risk to social procurement and be highly skilled in financial reporting and data analysis. The role involves a high volume of reporting, as such excellent attention to detail is a must. You will also possess excellent project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the collection of data, data management, and analysis of ESG data and sustainability metricsImprove data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to maximise the value derived from our dataSupport the preparation of sustainability reports and other reports as requiredLet's talk about youIdeally 5+ years of experience in a finance and/or analyst role, with at least 12 months in sustainability data management and reporting frameworksTertiary level qualifications in a related field including finance, sustainability, business or accountingStrong understanding of financial and sustainability reporting systems and principlesStrong communication skills with a proven ability to distil complexity conciselyHigh attention to detail with experience and ability to work in a highly numerate and analytical environment.
