DescriptionCareer opportunity for an accomplished paediatric pharmacist.Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services in Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals.Lead a team of clinicians dedicated to achieving positive health outcomes.Lead Pharmacist Paediatrics (P3)RDPH Pharmacy DepartmentFull-time, fixed period for up to two years.Remuneration Package: $130,087 - $145,485 (including salary $110,873 - $124,173)Darwin, Northern TerritoryAre you an accomplished pharmacist looking to take on a leadership role in the delivery of specialist clinical pharmacy services?As the Lead Pharmacist Paediatrics (P3) you are responsible for providing leadership to a team delivering comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to paediatric wards and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals.Your key duties will include planning and implementing specialist clinical pharmacy services, providing specialist clinical advice to medical and nursing staff, and leading quality improvement activities related to medication management within paediatric services. In addition, you will develop, implement and maintain clinical guidelines to support best practice, and maintain contemporary pharmacy practice knowledge through structured professional development activities.Contributing to the weekend and on-call roster and being available for out of hours emergency duties is essential.To be shortlisted, you require tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy, eligibility for registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, and have extensive clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in Paediatric Medicine.Your expertise in quality improvement principles and medication safety standards, and ability to plan and prioritise high volume complex workload will be key to your success.
