The Role:
We are looking for casual Care Workers, who are passionate about their community and a client-centered approach to care. We have clients ready for an immediate starter. Our clients are located across the Tamworth region with our head office located within Bundaleer Aged Care Community, at Wauchope. You must be dedicated to working in the community care model and be able to apply quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and Attendant Care Standards.
What you will do:
Care Worker duties include:
* Personal care
* Emotional and social support
* Light domestic duties
* Assisting clients with activities of daily life
* Support client mobility and transport
* Ensure high-quality care and service delivery
* Recording client progress and feedback
* Identify training and development opportunities
* Contribute to care planning as part of a team
* Audits of Infection control procedures and inventory
Who are you and what will you bring?
* Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent
* Availability to work various shifts across various days
* Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Current NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current NSW Drivers license with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
* Confidence in use of technology
* Smartphone
