We are an early-stage funded startup with customer traction and global partnerships.Position OverviewWe're seeking an experienced, hands-on Systems Engineering Manager to work closely with our engineering team and CEO to design, build, and iterate Deteqt's first-generation quantum magnetometry product. Your role will be to translate product needs into engineering work plans.You'll lead system-level prototyping efforts—integrating optics, electronics, and embedded software—while laying the foundations for scalable product development and a high-performing engineering team.You'll play a vital role in turning advanced research into practical, scalable solutions, contributing to applications in navigation, biomedical imaging, and beyond.About DeteQtWe are developing a patented diamond-on-silicon sensing technology that has the potential to completely transform our ability to see and understand the world. We are not the only ones that see this potential – we are backed by AU and US deep tech venture capital investors and have major development partners in navigation, mineral exploration, and imaging of the human body.Our solid-state quantum magnetometer combines chip-scale manufacturability, high-sensitivity, and low size, weight, and power.
