Their clients include multinational companies operating in sectors such as Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Marketing, Chemicals, and Manufacturing.
They offer internship opportunities for undergraduates who are studying translation and would like to gain experience working in a translation agency.

This trainee role is an opportunity to work alongside their Vendor Manager and to gain experience in procurement and project management.
The role will come with full training and you will be working within an international team.
The qualified candidate will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who would be able to assist with the effective coordination of complex multilingual projects, liaising with freelance translators and working with the software systems.
TasksCollaborate with the Project Management and Commercial departments regarding procurement needs and available resources.Research industry standard pricing in order to provide up-to-date recommendations on pricing and resource capacities.Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department to develop and document process improvements that address customer complaints as related to procurement.Assist the Vendor Manager to recruit, vet, test, and evaluate new external resources.Assess and maintain data integrity of the vendor database.Develop innovative ways to find new vendors and ensure the full utilization of vetted resources.RequirementsHigh level of numeracy.Native level in English.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Negotiation skills.Problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.IT proficient.Attention to detail is imperative.Spanish language or translation skills are not obligatory for the role.BenefitsImmediate incorporation since the project commenced in August 2019.The student will have an official work contract with McFelder during the placement period.Students normally receive an ERASMUS grant but in addition, they provide a salary of 430€ (minus 2% Spanish tax, legal requirement by Spanish Law).Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 9-2, 3-6, Friday 9-2.30pm.
Placement period: during 2019-2020 (minimum 6-month placement time).
