About your team This role reports to the Director, IT Operations within the Business Solutions and Technology (BS&T) business unit. BS&T are responsible for all software related business analysis, business solutions, software development, telephony, IT services, infrastructure and cyber. About the role As the IT Operations Project Manager, you will have proven experience in managing several concurrent projects. This role includes the responsibilities as part of the project life cycle. You will develop project documentation, project status reports, contract manage procurements and manage costs relating to projects. To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have: Knowledge and experience managing complex technical IT and data projects. Proven experience in developing project documentation for infrastructure and software delivery projects including budget estimates and resource management across multiple projects. An understanding of delivering programs within Government, with a knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (PGPA) Act. Extensive experience managing change including release and deployment, risk identification and mitigation. Exceptional stakeholder negotiation and management skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to a range of stakeholders and present at the executive level. Highly developed written and administrative skills, with the ability to prepare papers, business cases and briefs with excellent attention to detail. Organisational and analytical skills, including work prioritisation, dealing with competing requirements and workloads, and maintaining a customer focus.
