Join a Sydney based company who is looking for a Project Engineer to come onboard and work on Solar Farm projects.
About the role:
Reporting to the project manager, the Project Engineer will be involved in all stages of the projects. Accountable for the planning, conceptual design, design management, project relevant documentations, site visits, permitting and technical support and system commissioning during construction phase and project handover. The role is a site based role on a 10:4 Roster with allowances for living away provided.
Responsibilities:
Review and manage all aspects of design including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical.
Assist in project scheduling, cost tracking and quality assurance during the project.
Prepare and maintain all project technical and quality documentations.
Provide on-time project reporting to the EPC team and external clients.
Assist Project Manager in preparing budget estimate for new EPC tender work.
Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Lead and manage the execution of running a solar farm.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in managing Solar farm projects.
Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
