This role manages the marketing initiatives on local, regional, and national levels throughout Australia and partners closely with various partners and organizations to create opportunities for FranklinWH to reach its target audiences. Traveling will be required approximately 25% of the time to facilitate the success of these marketing initiatives.Operating from a mindset of organized reliability, collaboration, and creativity are crucial for success in this role. Assertive and confident relationship building, sales, marketing, and negotiation techniques are a must.This position requires the candidate to work onsite at our office in Sydney, Australia, where they will be expected to collaborate with the team, attend meetings, and perform duties in a professional office environment.Key Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy: Participate in the development of the annual AUS brand & marketing plan and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company objectives and drive brand recognition, customer engagement, and sales growth in the Australian market.Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns.Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.Brand Management: Oversee brand consistency across all marketing and communications. Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure brand messaging aligns with the company's overall vision and mission.Partnerships & Events: Identify and establish partnerships with industry stakeholders, trade associations, and influencers. Plan and execute participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility.Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for the Australian market, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.Proven startup experience: We're building systems to scale, so we need someone who thrives in resource-constrained environments, focusing on high-impact work. The ideal candidate has navigated a startup’s growth from early-stage to scale.Enterprise sales support for technical products: Our product can have a long sales cycle and involves multiple decision-makers. Success requires experience in selling high-value, technical solutions, especially with home energy management, energy storage, solar, and similar technologies.Ability to pivot between strategy, operations, and execution: The role demands someone who can manage relationships at all levels—upward, outward, and downward. You’ll need to navigate various business tools and approach tasks with a blend of creativity and practicality.
