Pokolbin, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSWManagement Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting)Full timeThis is a great opportunity to join an award-winning organisation and add value.Your new companyThis award-winning organisation is a leader in their field and they are proud to be one of Australia's leading companies in what they do; they deliver quality products for their clients.Their expertise covers a number of areas and they take pride in creating products that set ground-breaking quality standards.The team is made up of experts.They are well qualified and come with a high level of skill across the business.This is an organisation that has built an outstanding industry network that enables it to be at the forefront of everything that they do.Your new roleAs the Management Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team supporting the finance requirements of the organisation.You will work closely with the team to provide robust financial information on time and accurately.You will ensure the integrity of the general ledger and ensure all internal financial controls are adhered to.In detail, you will be responsible for:Prepare Monthly Management Accounts including Profit and LossPrepare Daily Bank and event deposits ReconciliationsMonthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, journals when required including stocktake, inventory and gift cardsMaintaining cashflow forecastPayroll journals and review including wage recharge, commission review, cost allocations and leave accrualsQuarterly BAS lodgementMonthly reconciliation, lodgement and payment PAYG, IT, Payroll TaxAnnual Workers Comp and FBT reviewReview & approve Supplier PaymentsOversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable / Cash ReceiptingGeneral Ledger and Records MaintenanceLiaise with external auditorsIntercompany / external stakeholder RechargesMaintain Fixed Asset & Prepayment schedulesMonthly financial review and accrualsQuarterly financial review and accrualsQuarterly Compliance reportingWork closely with operations staff, management, trust accountant, property team, maintenance teams and group head office staff to ensure accurate cost recording, facilitate collections and provide reports where necessary.What you'll need to succeedIt is essential that you can demonstrate experience in a similar role.You must be able to demonstrate solid commercial experience with the ability to analyse financial data to generate meaningful financial reports and statements.You are detailed in your approach and you are someone who builds lasting relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders.It goes without saying that you have a high level of analytical skills, a high-level of Microsoft Excel and that you have superior written and verbal communications skills.What you'll get in returnThis is an excellent role for a great organisation where you will be part of a team that will value your input; you will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package.What you need to do nowFor more information on this role, apply online or email.#J-18808-Ljbffr
