With $1.5 billion in purchases, they are a retail leader who leads the way in delivering food services to its diverse customer base. This is a newly created role that requires a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spark. The role Working closely with the Executive Team, this is a key position that will work work closely with both customers and suppliers. Specific outcomes will include: Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and income targets Analyse trends and identify new opportunities within assigned categories Create category plans Negotiate supplier terms and rebates Analyse and prepare reports for management and members Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders About you Experience working within a large retail environment would be advantageous as are relevant qualifications. This role will particularly suit someone with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment.
