A thriving Insurance Repairs, Project Management & Remedial Builder have an opportunity for an Insurance Assessor Estimator to join their ACT division - Canberra.

This company works across multiple states and has a strong presence across NSW, with an experienced on-the-road and office-based support team.
They manage all aspects of insurance repairs from restoration and high volume BAU, to large and major loss, in both the residential and commercial sectors + schools maintenance and upgrade works.
They are looking for a reliable, consistent and self-motivated individual, committed to being a valuable part of the team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is Canberra based. You will be Assessing and Estimating for varied insurance repair building projects. Local travel is required as part of the role in order to attend sites.
ABOUT YOU
* At least 1 year Assessing and Estimating experience within insurance repair building.
* Trade certificate (Carpentry preferred), Cert IV Building & Construction, or other tertiary qualification highly advantageous.
* In depth understanding of the insurance building industry + Australian building codes.
* Proven longevity in previous positions.
* An ability to manage and motivate trades.
* Well presented.
* A team player.
* Comfortable using a tablet/computer.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Interested to grow with a company long-term.
