As Deputy Director, you will drive initiatives to deliver innovative and flexible learning design and delivery models that inspire student success. Collaborating with University leadership, you'll implement forward-thinking strategies that elevate educational outcomes and champion continuous improvement across VET, Higher Education, microcredential, and short course offerings.
Leading a team of senior educational developers and learning designers, you will oversee the creation of world-class instructional materials and the integration of next-gen tools and technologies. Your focus on inclusivity, relevance, and innovation will ensure our courses meet evolving workforce needs and align with CQUniversity's mission to be Australia's most engaged and accessible tertiary education provider.

Position Requirements Possession of a doctoral or post-graduate qualification plus significant relevant experience. Understanding of current professional and educational issues in the tertiary domain, through a network of professional and industry stakeholders. Demonstrated abilities in leading and managing or significant experience working in a digital 'product agency' environment. Specialised knowledge and understanding of pedagogy, curriculum and educational best practice in learning and teaching, with a strong focus on technology enhanced learning and demonstrated leadership in educator capability development.
