We run 30-40 pharma sponsored trials, across a range of skin and hair conditions. You will be at least PGY4 and have a strong interest in dermatology and clinical trials.Permanent Full-time or Part-time (0.8 FTE) role for the right candidatePositions available for early 2025 startRoleYou will be part of a team offering a busy and stimulating clinic environment, including patient visits, working closely with and supported by our Clinical Trials Co-Ordinator's and Assistants. Reporting to the Unit Head with responsibilities centered around the medical oversight of the study participants. Your primary consideration is participant safety and well-being.You WillBe delegated on clinical trials as a Sub-InvestigatorBe familiar and comply with ICH-GCP guidelines and the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human ResearchHave experience in conducting disease assessments and calculating disease extent and severity (e.g. PASI, EASI, HS lesion count)Assume responsibility for screening trial participants into studies after careful assessment of protocol Inclusion/Exclusion criteria and required medication washoutsObtain participant informed consent according to ICH-GCP and the National StatementProvide medical care and oversight of study participants enrolled in the trialsPerform study activities as required by the protocol such as interpretation of pathology results, ECG, adverse events follow-up etc.Liaise with participant's local GP/other health care personnel as necessary to keep them informed about the research participant's progress during the study, and any other medical conditions that arise during the course of the studyEnsure that all clinical trial related activities are documented with the highest possible attention to detail and in accordance with ICH-GCP and the National StatementHave strong attention to detailSupport the Unit in developing a high performing team culture.Be viewed favorably if you have experience in conducting clinical trials or research, and in commercially sponsored trial settings.Opportunity to work closely with a dermatologist as an assistant.Rostered on-call shifts as an after-hours emergency contact.
