About the role:
As a Learning & Development Advisor, you will provide vital operational support for delivering targeted technical and business training across the Elders network. You will be responsible for the administration of our Learning Management System (Workday) and ensuring that our training initiatives align with our business goals.
The Elders People & Performance team is a key enabler of the business strategic plan. We have a fantastic opportunity to join the L&D team to expand our Blended Learning offerings. Reporting to the L&D Manager you will use your passion for Instructional Design & Facilitation to enhance training in a way that it becomes part of what we do at Elders, anywhere, at any time.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning & Development Advisor, you will:
* Support the L&D team to develop, design and implement the Elders learning strategy
* Assist the Digital Learning team with e-Learning administration and integration
* Design & Facilitate engaging training sessions, both virtually and face-to-face
* Design & Co-ordinate pre & post work assessments, manage accreditations for inhouse programs
* Collaborate with teams to identify learning needs and develop tailored training programs
* Apply Adult Learning Principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences
* Support the greater People & Performance team to facilitate training to a variety of audiences across the Elders business
About you:
To be successful in the Learning & Development Advisor role, you will have:
* Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or relevant Tertiary qualifications)
* Experience in a similar position, within a large complex organisation
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to coordinate and facilitate face-to-face and virtual training sessions
* Demonstrated experience in Instructional Design
* Demonstrated proficiency managing learning management systems (Workday preferred)
* Previous experience working across multiple functions including Early Careers
