We are currently looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to join our Information Technology Team at our Perth Head Office in a Full Time capacity.
About the role
* Lead a team of developers to design, code and test in a mature .Net based system.
* Facilitate integration between teams and other systems in use, including third party.
* Mentor and guide less experienced team members, including graduates and junior developers.
* Liaise between the development team and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
* Coordinate and lead team meetings, including sprints, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
* Work closely with users to evaluate IT application and equipment requirements.
* Ensure systems are completed within agreed budgets and time frames while adhering to design and security standards.
About you
* You'll hold relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, IT or software engineering.
* Have advanced skills in C# or similar languages, plus experience with Azure and the wider .Net suite.
* Have expertise in relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres or MySQL.
* Advanced knowledge of software architecture with the ability to apply this knowledge to specific project deliverables.
* Be available to participate in after hours on-call shifts.
* Previous experience in a software development leadership role is desirable.
