RAAFA has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team. As the Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a series of robust and supportive relationships in the community that allow RAAFA to deliver on its strategic vision.
This position will see you lead a small but dedicated team to enhance our ability to serve the community via corporate, government and individual partnerships. The successful candidate will passionately support the organisation’s growth, including leading the continued development of Australia’s most unique aviation museum. They will champion veterans’ issues, drive philanthropic efforts, and education programs.

This role will see you:
* Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote the organisation’s mission – specifically its veterans services and aviation museum.
* Collaborate with government officials, community leaders, individuals, and corporate stakeholders to advocate for financial and policy support.
* Lead the coordination of outreach and engagement initiatives that enable the organisation to expand its social dividend.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporations, and foundations to secure financial support.
* Inspire your team, the broader organisation, and the wider community to connect with and advance the organisation’s ability to create positive change.
About you:
* Tertiary qualification in a business-related field is desirable.
* Previous experience and demonstrated success in fundraising, philanthropy, bequests, and grants.
* Keen interest in and understanding of aviation heritage and veterans affairs.
* Proven ability to craft emotional, inspirational, informative, instructional or educational storytelling and programs that implore a positive response.
* Skilled in gathering information from diverse sources and synthesizing it effectively.
* Capability to implement strategies for change management to support effective communication and connection.
* Strong leadership skills and experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
