This is an ongoing, permanent role at the APS 6 classification level.About the Business Relationship Manager roleThe Business Relationship Manager will play a key role in supporting the Chief Information Officer and the Technology and Security Division (TSD) Executive in achieving operational excellence, strategic planning and day-to-day management.As a Business Relationship Manager, your responsibilities may include:Business Support Management: collaborate closely with the CIO and TSD Executive to ensure seamless support for the divisional priorities, maintaining high standards of efficiency and professionalism.
Provide insights and advice based on the business program for this group.Document Preparation and Coordination: develop high-quality presentations, briefings, ministerial correspondence, meeting agendas and corporate documents tailored to specific requirements.Administrative Services: deliver administrative support, including preparing professional correspondence, managing knowledge basis systems, maintaining registers and databases, and organising actions.Meeting and Event Coordination: organise and coordinate stakeholder meetings, agenda and presentation preparation, with the timely distribution of meeting documentation.Stakeholder Engagement: foster productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Secretariat Support: plan, manage and provide secretariat support for high-level meetings and events, ensuring smooth operations and accurate record-keeping.Process Development: initiate, implement and refine work processes as needed to improve organisational efficiency.What we are looking for (selection criteria)You should be able to demonstrate, or have high potential to develop, the following skills, qualities and experience:Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and build working relationships to achieve outcomes and drive change.

Qualifications and knowledge of project management software products and frameworks such as Prince2 would be highly regarded.Ability to utilise analytical capability to interpret information and make informed recommendations.
Experience working with large data sets to develop higher level strategy or executive reports that tell the story would be highly regarded.Knowledge of the following would be advantageous; financial management information systems (i.e.
OneGov), Microsoft package (i.e.
