Work Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Emerald Department: Communities Remuneration : Stream A, Level 5 - 6: $88,202.60 - $99,472.76 per annum+ Superannuation Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a Coordinator Libraries.
This role will be responsible for effectively managing council's libraries in order to provide services that respond to the informational, educational and recreational needs of the community now and into the future.
This role is responsible for; coordinating staff, day to day operations, budget control, developing strategies, plans, policies and procedures as necessary.
In this busy role, you will support the organisation by: Accurate analysis and reporting on library functions and issues to Department Manager.
Coordinate and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure consistent region wide delivery of library functions, programs and services.
Ensure customer service records are accurate and filed in line with CHRC Record Management protocols.
Ensure efficient and timely delivery of special projects as required.
To actively participate in ongoing training and self-development to achieve continuous improvement for yourself and council.
Taking reasonable care for health and safety of yourself and others, complying with reasonable instruction and co-operating with CHRC policy and procedure per 'Duties of Worker' contained in the Work Health and Safety Act as amended.
Ensure development and management of efficient budgets and expenditure for delivery of library services across the region.
Development of library policies and procedures to ensure consistent service provision throughout the region.
In liaison with key inter-department stakeholders, ensure effective supervision and coordination of work tasks and responsibilities within the library services function.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence.
Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.
