Fyfe works with a wide range of clients in the Property & Infrastructure and Energy & Resources sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.About the RoleThis diverse role will suit an ambitious, results-driven and experienced Senior Structural Engineer who has a proven track record in leading project teams, building and maintaining key client relationships, and providing technical leadership across the structural discipline. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate good industry experience across Industrial, Infrastructure and Resources, with Buildings and Defence experience also considered favourably.Skills & ExperienceAs the successful candidate, your technical expertise will be complemented by strong local networks, competencies in business development, and the ambition and drive to further expand Fyfe's client base and project portfolio.Your key responsibilities will include:Technical leadership to the structural teamProject management and deliveryGrowing the client base of the structural teamKey client relationship managementLeading bids and proposalsKey requirements:Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering with 7+ years relevant experienceProven track record in project delivery in a consulting environmentStrong industry knowledge and presenceDemonstrated experience in building and maintaining key client relationshipsChartered Engineer/RPEQ preferredKnowledge and competence in the use of relevant software such as RAPT, SPACE GASS, ETABS, and SAFEA passion for mentoring and eagerness to develop junior engineersWell versed with current local building codes and standardsA strong communicator and able to successfully manage a project from concept to construction documentationCompetence in preparing reports and technical specificationsAbility to produce design, inspection report, assessment and strengthening and repair of bridge structures would be desirableCultureFyfe values our clients and our people and has a culture built on respect, integrity, and the delivery of value.
