You'll partner closely with our Global Talent Acquisition Director, supervise a talented team, and help implement Workday technology to elevate our recruitment capabilities. Our APAC team is fun and geographically dispersed, and we encourage diversity and flexible ways of working.The day to dayLead full-cycle recruitment for senior-level and specialised roles across various regions.Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand business needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.Supervise the Talent Acquisition team providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.Work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition Director to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.Train and mentor hiring managers on best practices in recruitment, interviewing techniques, and candidate engagement.Build relationships with higher education institutions across the region to build our brand and talent pipelines.Source and attract top talent through headhunting, networking, and leveraging various recruitment tools and platforms.Support the implementation of Workday recruitment module, ensuring user adoption and optimising processes.Develop and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.Analyse recruitment metrics and provide insights and reports to improve hiring processes and outcomes.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously enhance our recruitment capabilities.Skills we’re hunting for:Proven experience in a senior talent acquisition role.Strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment, including headhunting and passive candidate engagement.Previous experience within an internal recruitment team and driving change.Ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity.Experience or desire to supervise and develop recruitment teams.Familiarity with LinkedIn recruiter tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) – Workday exposure would be a bonus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Experience in training and mentoring hiring managers on recruitment best practices.Strong analytical skills, with experience in presenting and gathering data, to demonstrate value and improve decision making.A proactive and strategic mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in talent acquisition.Above all else you will have a positive and proactive attitude, with a sense of urgency and you will believe in working hard but having a lot of fun along the way!Working at ALSOur people drive our success at ALS.
