About this opportunity
Salary: $87,679.86 + super + NFP salary packaging (tax savings!)
Position: Permanent Full-time position, Immediate start
Leave: 5 days Well-being leave on top of annual leave

What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for the coordination of maintenance tasks at the residential and crisis accommodation properties on a daily basis and for maintaining an effective and well-serviced facility in accordance with existing systems, policies, and procedures.
You will:
1. Create an annual cyclical maintenance plan to manage ongoing asset maintenance and take a preventative approach to maintenance where possible
2. Ensure contractors and suppliers are regularly assessed for performance and pricing, ensuring Launch Housing is receiving the best possible commercial outcome from service agreements
3. Provide regular communication with the assets team and site management to aid awareness of maintenance activities
4. Maintain accurate records of planned and cyclical maintenance activities and ensuring these are logged in the Enterprise Asset Management system
5. Work with the Property Safety & Compliance Officer, as well as the Office Facilitators, to ensure safe and compliant properties across the Launch portfolio

What we're looking for
1. Demonstrated experience in a hands-on maintenance position or similar, able to conduct basic repairs and maintenance with confidence
2. Sound computer skills
3. Strong administrative and timekeeping skills
4. Demonstrated experience of working in a people-facing service-oriented role
5. Ability to work within a team and also independently
6. Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness
