We are currently seeking dynamic and skilled Registered Nurses to join our team as part of our SAPOL program. In this role, you will provide consultation, triage, and assessment nursing care to those incarcerated in the SAPOL correctional facilities, ensuring their well-being and supporting hospital avoidance.Multiple positions in metropolitan Adelaide as well as regional South Australia available offering attractive penalty rates!Key Duties and Responsibilities:Apply nursing skills within the scope of practice as per AHPRA guidelines and trainingProvide clinical care to detainees and Police Officers within the SAPOL correctional facilitiesAssess detainees for 'Fit for Custody' in collaboration with admitting SAPOL OfficerComplete accurate and timely patient notes and documentationCollaborate and communicate with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionalsActively recognise and respond to clinical deterioration or incidentsAttend regular training to stay updated and maintain current skills and knowledge within your scope of practiceAbout You:To be successful in this role you will possess a Bachelor of Nursing and current unrestricted AHPRA registration. You will also bring with you a minimum of 3 years' of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse.
