About the Park
A small and friendly park surrounded by trees and right at the start of amazing mountain biking trails and the equally renowned Forrest Brewery and Hotel.
This is a friendly pet and family-friendly park offers a variety of accommodation. The new tenant have a long lease of and a large capital investment program to vastly improve the grounds and facilities.
The Role
We're currently recruiting an experienced individual or management team, who are highly customer focused, commercially minded driving business development, and assist the capital investment team with installation new infrastructure, amenities and grounds. We need someone equally passionate about guest and local community engagement, and have a guest first mindset.
Managers must have a commercial mindset and a creative flare for local marketing and community engagement. You must have an understanding of budget and reports and manage costs in line with increasing or decreasing revenues. A small team requires you to be hands on in regard to cleaning, housekeeping and grounds maintenance. Passionate about supporting VIC Parks in protection of the environment and culture whilst providing a world class guest experience. You may also be required to carry out relieving duties at other parks when the need arises. Successful candidates are required to have their own caravan for accommodation.
Responsibilities include:
Being accountable for all business operation and guest experience
Be hands-on and possess a positive attitude
Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Lead and supervise small teams
Be accountable for the financial outcomes of the business
Achievement of agreed KPI's
A strong Australian based support office and local management teams support our park managers on all areas of WHS, holiday park legislation, IT and HR so Park Managers can focus on delighting guests.
Selection Criteria
An energetic and enthusiastic, hands-on approach
Proven experience in a similar role
Outstanding customer service
Familiarity with RMS 9+ computerised booking system and good computer skills
Willingness to learn and apply our systems and processes
Well-developed communication, organisation, administration and management skills
Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
