Hunter Hand Rehabilitation Centre is a private hand therapy practice in Adamstown, NSW.
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our practice on a permanent part-time basis. Up to 3 days per week is required. Availability to cover sick / annual leave is also desired. To start ASAP.
You will become a part of a long-standing, locally owned, small business. We have been servicing the community since 2013. We have delightful patients, a great team, and pride ourselves on creating an environment that anyone is happy and comfortable to walk into.
Your key responsibilities will include :
* Acting as first point of contact to patients, greeting them upon arrival, maintaining patient flow and accurately processing relevant paperwork to ensure a smooth journey to and from the reception area and treatment room.
* Managing and appropriately directing telephone enquiries.
* Coordinating patient management including the booking of appointments, confirmation and re-scheduling of appointments, and providing relevant procedural information.
* Billing and receipting patient accounts, utilising HICAPS and liaising with Insurance companies to manage accounts.
* Ensuring confidentiality and management of patient records.
* Assisting with stock ordering.

* The ability to multi-task within a fast-paced working environment.
* Demonstrates a high level of motivation.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and external providers.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team as required.
* Previous medical or allied health reception experience.
* Experience claiming of EPC, DVA / PRODA, Workcover Insurance, and other medical systems.
* Experience using Mac, Genie (Patient Management Software), and MYOB Essentials.
