We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Site Engineer to join our clients team in North Wales.
Responsibilities: Team Management:Lead Engineer and Technician teams, manage their activities for installation processes.Manage subcontractor teams, providing direction to ensure smooth progress in installation processes.Maintain site organization and optimize workflow efficiency throughout the installation process.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure steady workflow and project alignment.Quality Improvement:Guide regular quality inspections with Quality teams to ensure that installation work meets high-quality standards.Identify quality issues on-site, provide feedback to relevant teams, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Provide regular updates to engineers and managers, detailing project advancements, encountered issues, and resolution processes.Guide Quality teams for document completion of installation activities through inspection reports and testing records for project handover preparation.Documentation:Maintain detailed records of installation processes and equipment specifications.Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports for management on project status and outcomes.Skills Required: Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Engineering.Minimum 5 years' experience in the paper industry.Strong technical knowledge of machinery and installation processes.Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Effective communication and leadership abilities.Problem-solving skills and critical thinking.Valid equivalent CSCS Card.This is a contract role for around 18 months.
