This role is suitable for someone likely beginning a career in the music industry, who is driven and ambitious, and just loves to create What you'll do: Content Creation: Capture, edit, create, and curate high-quality content in various formats such as videos, infographics, images, photography, graphic design and social media posts. Generate ideas for engaging and relevant content based on target audience and business objectives. This role will include offsite content shoots and supporting broader content team in support role as requested, this may include interstate travel from time to time. Content Strategy: Collaborate with marketing teams and stakeholders to define content strategies aligned with brand goals and objectives. These are to align with commissioned artwork, video and photoshoot creative execution for campaign. Conduct content and social media audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. Run community management across multiple channels and platforms, understanding tone and positioning required across multiple brands. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to inform content strategy. Multimedia Production: Create and edit multimedia content, including videos, motion, and graphics, using various software and tools. Photography and lighting skills, including editing and postproduction required on images. Manage the production process, including scripting, shooting, editing, and post-production tasks. Optimization: Optimize content for search and algorithms to improve visibility and organic reach. Content Distribution: Plan and execute content distribution strategies across various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, and third-party platforms. Analytics and Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance using analytics tools to assess engagement, reach, and conversions. Use data insights to refine content strategies and improve results. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all content aligns with the brand's voice, style, and messaging guidelines. Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and channels. Content Calendar and Scheduling: Develop and maintain a content calendar to plan and schedule content releases. Manage deadlines and ensure timely content publication. Community management as needed on specific channels. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging content trends, digital marketing techniques, and industry developments. Experiment with new formats and channels to enhance content effectiveness. Who you are: Previous experience in creative content services in music or entertainment industry. Expert user of content creation software, as well as in-app creation tools on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, etc. Expert social understanding and breadth across networks and platforms – a clear understanding of best practice for content on each platform and for different audiences. Expert in graphic design and editing software including Canva, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects. Photography and and lighting operation and experience Eye for detail and great design / photography skills. End to End workflow Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative approach and ability to proactively support wider team. Editorial/journalist/creator experience not essential but a plus. Enthusiast of keeping educated and up to date with trends and innovation in the social media ecosystem. Passionate about music and artists.
