You will be instrumental in supporting staff—including graduate nurses, midwives, and students—by offering face-to-face and virtual guidance. Your expertise will promote reflective, evidence-based practices and foster a culture of experience sharing and problem-solving. In this predominantly clinical role, you will also manage specific portfolios aligned with your career development plan, as discussed in your performance review. You will work closely with Nurse Educators, Nurse Unit Managers, and Nurse Managers to enhance clinical education and support less experienced staff in their professional growth. What We're Looking For: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Competence in prioritizing workloads and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Creativity, innovation, and flexibility in addressing clinical challenges. At least 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience. Proven competence in relevant nursing practice areas. Experience in leading and guiding student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses. Understanding of relevant legislation, standards, codes, ethics, and competency standards. Familiarity with Quality Improvement Systems in healthcare. Awareness of contemporary nursing/midwifery and healthcare issues. Why Join Us?
