About the Role:
We are seeking experienced investigators to conduct independent and objective investigations into allegations of misconduct, bullying, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues on a subcontract basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for gathering and analysing evidence, interviewing relevant parties, preparing detailed reports, while maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.

If you are in a full-time investigator role and are looking for additional part-time work, we will support you obtaining approval from your employer for secondary employment with us. Maybe you are an investigator looking to return to the workplace. If so, we provide you the flexibility to choose how often you work and how many investigations you would like to do.
These roles are on a subcontract basis which means you will need to hold an ABN and operate as a sole trader. We can assist you with that.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct workplace investigations in accordance with legal and organisational policies. Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses professionally and impartially. Gather and analyse evidence, including documents, emails, and CCTV footage. Prepare clear, factual, and well-structured investigation reports. Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in handling cases. Provide recommendations based on investigation findings. Stay updated on workplace laws, industrial relations, and best practices. Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in workplace investigations, law enforcement, compliance, human resources, or a related field an advantage. Strong knowledge of investigation methodology and practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines. Relevant qualifications in law, HR, investigations, or a related discipline (highly regarded).
