Committed to innovation and excellence, they are dedicated to improving lives through science-backed solutions and sustainable practices.About the Role:In this role, you will conduct routine R&D trials, develop formulations based on customer requirements, and assist in technical investigations and production batch rework. Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Conduct R&D trials and develop formulas based on customer requests.Support production in granulation, crushing, and mixing to optimise final blend quality.Investigate and resolve stability issues, including tablet cracking, colour changes, chemical reactions, and coating defects.Prepare change control requests for temporary or permanent production modifications.Ensure all scientific work and documentation comply with QA and production standards.Evaluate raw materials, including particle size, colour, and physical properties.Operate and maintain R&D lab instruments such as balances, friability equipment, disintegration units, hardness testers, and dissolution testers.Understand and assist with the operation of production equipment like mixers, granulators, compression machines, and coating machines.Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and TGA laboratory requirements.About You:A tertiary qualification in Science, preferably in Chemistry is desired.At least 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industries will be beneficial.Strong technical problem-solving skills in solid dosage forms and/or liquid formulations.Familiarity with pharmaceutical production processes is desirable.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills and commitment to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).Understanding of laboratory safety and best practices.What's in it for You:Career Growth – Opportunities for advancement and internal mobilityCompetitive Salary – Up to $75,000 + SuperConvenient Perks – Free on-site parkingOngoing Development – Professional training and skill enhancementCross-Training – Gain experience across departments for career flexibilityIf you believe you have the right skills and experience for this position or know of anyone who does, please do not hesitate to get in contact with Ash Singh for a confidential discussion on 02 8270 9741.
