About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Mackay as a Field Service Technician. This is a full-time, permanent position offering job security, autonomy, and attractive company benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Booking work and dealing directly with customers in the Mackay region
* Performing servicing and repairs on VOLVO Construction Equipment
* Troubleshooting electronic, engine, hydraulic, and transmission systems
* Liaising with our Product Specialist for support when needed
Requirements:
* A proactive attitude toward safety
* Relevant trade qualification (Volvo Construction Equipment experience highly regarded)
* Experience with computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogs
* A positive attitude and good communication skills
