These include market-leading subsidised private health cover, enhanced parental pay and support when returning to work, subsidised banking products and services and wellness programmes including discounted gym memberships.This role will report to Broker Partnership Lead - Virtual and you will be responsible for optimising market position and delivering a best-in-class broker experience.Your main responsibilities will include:Optimize Broker Partnerships’ market position and share within existing HSBC broker network.Manage a broker portfolio & increase broker engagement by converting dormant brokers to supporters through strategic pro-active contact.Identify and develop future business opportunities including channels, alliances and communicate product requirements.Ensure compliance to HSBC process and procedures.Ongoing nurturing and coaching for brokers group with HSBC’s product and policy niches.Engage newly accredited brokers and convert them to active supporters of HSBC.Convert ‘Suspended’ brokers to ‘New’ by engaging them to complete training and utilise HSBC.Provide leave coverage for other Partnership managers within respective region and plan pro-active territory management around relief coverage.Build out strategies through data analysis to increase the level of activities with each broker group, identify opportunities and trends, capitalise on them, fostering strong relationships and positive outcomes.Work with broker partners to reduce mortgage process re-work as measured by missing information requests percentages.Contribute to the success of the broker business by being responsive, provide quality communications and having the required level of product and process knowledge.Meet and exceed performance objectives across a range of categories.To be successful in this role, you will need:5+ years’ experience in financial services industryPrevious experience and success in business development / sales / partnership management capacity.Strong knowledge / experience in 3rd Party mortgage broker market preferred.Accessible, knowledgeable, and empathetic with a strong client focus.High level communication and organisational skills.Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment.Ability to multi-task and handle large amounts of workload whilst remaining responsive.Proven stakeholder management skills (internal/external) with the ability to develop and maintain relationships as well as influence and negotiate effectively.An innovative approach to improving processes and problem solving.A ‘One team’ mentality to collaborate and support peers within the team and wider business in addition to achieving individual success.Advanced level of knowledge in HSBC’s credit policy is desirable.University qualified, RG146 certification advantageous.Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian or New Zealand PR/Citizenship or working rights or who can show they currently have unrestricted work rights in Australia with no limitations.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued and respected and where opinions count.
