About The Role
The Alliance Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and management of strategic initiatives and partnerships that mitigate energy and climate risk, capitalising on emerging opportunities.
Accountable to the Alliance Committee for the management of ongoing Alliance activities and their continuous improvement and delivery, this role will also identify opportunities to scale projects at additional sites, building upon foundations of Phase 1.
This includes scoping new development targets, renegotiating key commercial terms, and projecting cost savings and revenue generation from expanded scope.
You will also be responsible for:
Recommending and implementing resource plans, solutions, and approaches to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.Facilitating and enhancing Steering Committee meetings, including setting agendas and providing comprehensive briefings to ensure informed decision-making.Establishing and delivering project governance, including internal and external reporting.Leading the creation, implementation, and governance reporting of cross functional projects within a fast-paced culture of change.Promoting project delivery in alignment with agreed development plans and targets, ensuring timelines are met and project teams are well-coordinated.Leveraging strategic and innovative thinking to drive commercially viable solutions.
About You And Your Skills
Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of identifying commercially feasible and innovative solutions to energy problems.
Crucial to this role is a strategic, commercially driven mindset, ideally with experience applying this to interpret industry dynamics in a competitive landscape.
You will also ideally have:
Strong experience in project management or strategy focussed on environmental sustainability.Relevant tertiary degree- Sustainability/ Business/ Commerce/ Engineering or similar.Experience managing direct reports.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.
