Outpatient Administration Officer Position Summary To provide reception services that ensure a welcoming, professional, friendly, client-focussed and efficient service for Bass Coast Health.To provide community filing service by managing documentation from internal departments in accordance with BCH records policy and procedure.The position is responsible for providing a high standard of customer service, effective and efficient general administration support to staff and visiting health professionals.Key Responsibilities: Welcome clients attending appointments and attend to them promptly in accordance with BCH procedure in a friendly, efficient and professional manner Manage BCH client files according to relevant policies, procedures and legislation Manage all telephone calls and enquiries and provide assistance to staff with administrative tasks Undertake fee collection, process payments, and issue receipts for clients Confirm, cancel or reschedule appointments as required and send SMS text reminders regarding client appointments Ensure timely organisation and/or retrieval from other sites, of client files in preparation for clinical appointments Open and close site / reception area at designated times, following documented security procedures Manage reception and waiting areas including ensuring the waiting area and other client areas remain neat and hazard free Undertake other administrative tasks as requested by Manager Establish new or maintain and improve efficient office systems and processes in consultation with the team and Manager Requirements: Valid Police Check Working with Children Check Flu Vaccination Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing what you can bring to this role and explaining why you are interested in joining our team.View Position Description
