We are on the hunt for an Information Technology Officer. This position will contribute to the proactive delivery of service that helps to ensure the availability and reliability of Riverina Water’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.

Position Overview
Playing a key role in delivering proactive services, the Information Technology (IT) Officer ensures the organisation's IT infrastructure remains available and reliable. They work to maintain and improve service levels, minimise issues with daily operations, and foster effective communication with relevant stakeholders to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ITIL governed IT Service Desk functions, prioritising, monitoring, and actioning incoming support and services requests.
Provide, maintain, and support 2nd level End User Computing services, ensuring devices are secure, managed, and fit for purpose.
Coordinate ITIL governed change control, engaging with applicable stakeholders and vendors as required.
Develop and maintain high-quality end-user IT support materials and IT work procedures.
Maintain awareness and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Certificate IV or equivalent in relevant field; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated experience in a similar relevant role.
Familiarity with the ITIL Service Management Lifecycle.
Knowledge of infrastructure components and current principles, practices, protocols, and standards relating to IT infrastructure operations.
Ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve technical problems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Class C Driver’s License.
Desirable
IT Degree and industry qualifications.
Riverina Water Overview
Riverina Water County Council is responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of water supply to the Local Government Areas of Wagga Wagga City, Federation, Greater Hume, and Lockhart Shires.
