The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society.The RoleThe Principal Consultant - Secondary Curriculum and Assessment (Science), manages and provides leadership for the development and review of curriculum, assessment and standards support materials in the area of Science for Years 7-12 with a particular emphasis on Years 7 to 10 Science.Suitable applicants will facilitate consultation and collaborative processes between school systems/sector, schools and other stakeholder organisations to share ideas and devise common approaches on the implementation of the Authority's policies and procedures. The Principal Consultant will manage contract writers and associated physical resources, if required, in a manner which meets legislated requirements and provides executive support for advisory committees when required.
