Join CQUniversity’s Finance team and play a key role in supervising the day-to-day activity of the University bank accounts, cashiering and payment processes.
As the Coordinator for Banking and Payments, you will supervise the banking and payments team to ensure a high standard of service is delivered to both internal and external stakeholders. You will monitor daily cash flow activities to ensure the University meets its financial commitments, including verifying daily cash transfers. Additionally, you will manage banking and payment functions to maintain compliance with legislative and audit requirements while providing expert advice and solutions on relevant policies, processes and procedures.

Position Requirements
* Broad knowledge of accounting and finance principles and concepts within a large organisation as they apply to banking and payment functions and an ability to operate in a financial management support capacity.
* Knowledge in the use of large corporate finance systems and operating business support software including specialised spreadsheet functions, word processing, email and internet.
* Experience in analysing and resolving complex financial data matters.
* Using effective communication skills to liaise with staff at all levels and from all backgrounds as required.
