Knox Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established Wound Service.

This Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 14 bed ICU, 17 bed CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.

Areas of responsibility include:
· Management and education of patients with a complex wound in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
· Education of undergraduate and post graduate nursing students.
· Implementation of, and education of staff regarding Pressure Ulcer prevention program.
· Extensive wound care experience in an acute and or community setting
· Understanding of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
The successful applicant will have:
· Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
· Advanced skills and experience in wound management, and / or working towards postgraduate wound management qualifications.
· Membership to AWMA (Australian Wound Management Association) preferable
· Excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
· Strong interest in own ongoing professional development.
· Hold a current Victorian driver’s license
· Current Working with Children’s Check and Criminal Check
