To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).Visa and relocation assistance is available for eligible midwives on fixed term or permanent contracts. Relocation costs will be in two increments, with the first half payable after 6 months employment and the remainder payable after 12 months continuous employment.
