The Role
If you are outgoing, composed and have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional food service, then this role is for you. We are offering an exciting casual opportunity for a Food and Beverage Attendant at our Banrock Station Restaurant. You will be the face of our winery, providing high-quality food and service to our Cellar Door and Restaurant customers.
This casual role will work 2-3 days a week with the opportunity for more shifts. With day-shifts only, this role offers flexible hours which can work around study, sport, and family commitments.
Role Responsibilities
Assist the Chefs to prepare food for service
Set and clear tables where required
Collect food from the kitchen and serve to customers
Keep kitchen clean and assist with kitchen stock control
Assist in washing dishes when necessary
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a restaurant and/or hospitality environment (highly desired)
Exceptional customer service skills, providing our customers with the best experience possible
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain in control when working under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills – the ability to communicate in a clear and polite manner
Must have a driver's license
Lifting of heavy items may be required from time to time
Shifts will be across a 7-day roster
Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation
