Embracing work-life integration over balance, bringing our best selves to both work and home.Our PositionThe Warehouse Team Leader’s primary role is to oversee and ensure continual development of warehousing processes and improvement opportunities to meet customer needs as well as developing its staff.By implementing best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and data-driven decision-making, the Warehouse Team Leader plays a key role in enhancing warehousing efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting the Supply Chain Team to achieve DIFOT targets. Additionally, this position focuses on inventory accuracy and process standardisation compliance to support business growth and operational excellence.Your responsibilities include:Lead, oversee and coordinate the warehousing team with their daily activities related to incoming materials, picking & packing outgoing products, material replenishment and inventory management.Train, develop and motivate staff to fully understand all processes, creating a positive and productive team environment.Implement Safety, quality, productivity, and customer service standards across the Warehouse team to achieve DIFOT targets.Conduct stocktakes and regular cycle counts.Develop, document and train the team on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Ensure an accurate & systematic approach to drive improvement in inventory management and warehousing, to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.Record and report any NCR (Non Conformance Report) across the warehousing function and work on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate the NCR from happening again.Ensure the department is presentable following 5S and housekeeping standards & team is compliant with WHS/hazard identification and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Experience, skills and abilitiesAt least 4 years practical experience working within a warehouse or logistics function (preferably within a manufacturing type environment).Demonstrated experience in end-to-end warehousing and leading a warehouse team.Tertiary qualifications or study in supply management, operations or similar highly regarded.Experience with ERP (Netsuite or similar) or WMS (warehousing management systems).Experience in identifying areas for continuous improvement & knowledge.Natural and empathetic leader with eagerness to inspire, motivate and develop a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail & proactive approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and operate in a fast-paced environment.Advanced level in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs with particular focus on Excel.Experienced in lean and 5S concepts, both in theory and practice.The ProcessPlease include a cover letter along with your resume.Only successful applicants will be contacted for an interview.Rockcote is an equal opportunity employer.Applicants must be willing to undergo a standard company medical if successful.
