Our client is a leader in the industry providing comprehensive maintenance and reactive services to large commercial, industrial and manufacturing food and beverage equipment across Australia.
We’re currently seeking a National Service Manager to join their management team. The purpose of the role of The National Service Manager is to be responsible for overseeing the service operations on a national level. The National Service Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction, optimising service delivery, and driving the growth of the business nationally.
The role:
* Establish and implement service goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with company’s overall vision.
* Develop service policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery across all locations.
* Oversee the national service team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance.
* Evaluate service operations regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Monitor and analyse service performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rates.
* Identify trends and customer needs to proactively address issues and develop strategies for enhancing service offerings.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their service concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary resources and support for service operations.
* Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in service management, incorporating them into our service strategies.
* Prepare and present regular reports on service performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
* Manage the service budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to service operations.
What' we're looking for:
* Qualification in business administration, management, or a related field
* Proven experience (at least 5 years) in service management, preferably in a national or regional capacity.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performance team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* In-depth knowledge of service management best practices, tools, and techniques
* Proficient in using Service Management software (e.g., NetSuite) and other relevant technology platforms.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles related to service operations.
* Ability to travel nationally as required to oversee regional service operations and meet with key stakeholders.
