What will you do in this role?
To support the company’s growth, we are looking for an APAC Data Sales Manager to join our Global Data Sales Team. You will report to the Global Head of Data Sales in this position.
You will plan and execute strategies and sales tactics in the following areas: Territory planning, Strategic account management, Executive relationship development, presentation and delivery, negotiating, closing and executing contracts.
This role will focus primarily on ICEYE’s data sales market, with an emphasis on defence, intelligence and security customers. You will identify leads and opportunities, both directly and through the agency vendor ecosystem, to market ICEYE’s satellite imagery data and products that will meet potential client’s needs.
Responsibilities
5. You will initiate contact & meet with clients, with the objective to exceed quota, move prospects to contract close, and expand ICEYE’s presence across assigned client base.
6. You will lead sales campaigns in conjunction with marketing, initiating customized proposals and communication for clients, and develop familiarity with potential clients to best meet their priorities.
7. This role will have a great deal of autonomy
8. You'll be responsible for generating your own leads and building customer pipelines
9. Accelerate customer adoption
10. Work with partners to extend reach
11. Lead contract negotiations
12. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
13. Ensure customer happiness and success
Requirements
What will you need to be successful in this role?
14. Proven experience working in a Business Development or Sales role within APAC
15. A background in Geospatial or Satellite imagery Sales is preferred. However, we would also welcome applicants from an Aerospace & Defence background
16. Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
17. Prior track record of achievement in positions with accountability.
18. Hunter mentality with solid sales experience
19. Strong verbal and written communications skills
20. An extensive customer network within APAC is a must
21. An entrepreneurial spirit, find the right opportunities and take through to a close
In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills:
22. Passion for the Space sector.
23. A network of existing clients in the Defence and Intelligence space, especially MODs across the APAC region.
24. Experience of working in a company that is experiencing high pace growth year on year and being able to match that by contributing to the bottom line from an early stage.
25. A good knowledge of Synthetic Aperture Radar
26. Experience within a SaaS background

31. Base salary range for this position is contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
